To protect user rights and data security, PwdWiz provides the following refund guarantee for password recovery and file password removal services:
1. Data Security Assurance
PwdWiz does not attempt to open your file using the recovered or removed password, and therefore cannot automatically verify the final validity of the password or the removal process. While extremely rare, there is a small possibility that the recovered password may be invalid or password removal may fail.
2. Refund Eligibility
You may request a refund if any of the following occurs:
The recovered password does not work;
File password removal fails (note: if the file contains text in images that cannot be edited, this does not constitute password removal failure).
To ensure fair processing, you must provide valid supporting evidence, such as:
The original encrypted file;
File screenshots;
Payment receipts or order information.
Upon verification, we will promptly process your refund or provide a secondary decryption/removal service.
3. Refund Process
By default, the system recovers or removes the open password.
If the file still has editing restrictions, read-only protection, or other secondary passwords after opening, this indicates double encryption and requires a second round of decryption/removal.
Refunds are only applicable in the following cases:
Recovered password is incorrect; or
Password removal fails (note: uneditable text within images does not count as failure).
4. Contact
If you encounter any issues or wish to request a refund, please contact us
and provide the required evidence. We will process your request or complete the refund as quickly as possible.
